The purpose of going through Reiki Level one and level two is to create a solid foundation for your Reiki practice and enhance the energetic connection you have with life, the planet, and all living beings.
Traditionally in Reiki, the student would wait six months after their first attunement before taking Level two, and then at least two years before completing their Master Level. Practice is required to master any art or discipline, so taking time in between the Reiki levels is necessary.
